My first New Years in Thailand celebrated half a day earlier in Canada but done here in style! Great fun! A few assorted pictures from the first days of the year.
Below is the official Machan Family Reunion mug and my new “go to” cold beverage container in hot countries. Three hours later and the ice not melted!
It’s Pattaya time. Mostly just relax but still wander about occasionally taking pictures. Thailand has about 35 million visitors and Pattaya 7-10 million annually. At times it’s very busy. The beach of course, far more relaxing.

My first ever Christmas here! Thailand does it up quite well. Decorations everywhere. Interesting as Thailand is a Buddhist country and Christmas is Christian.
