Common Grass Yellow Butterfly
Winding down. Random photos of what I come across. Thailand enters a warming season with temperatures slowly climbing.

Near Terminal 21 Mall

Thailand’s edition of the most widespread bird in the world. House Sparrow, cousin to the variety we have in Canada.

Yes, my old friend the Yellow-vented Bulbul.

Replacing lights at the beach

Back to randomness. At the beach … new things.

Tinnies, the Australian assorted pie, fish and chips, pastries and more erected a large Kangaroo and Joey statue. A wonderful place to dine with a large frozen food section is very close to the beach. Hope to sample later.

Some people just have to bring bigger sand digger toys …

One of many beach scroungers …

Buakaw Market open Wednesday and Friday …

Coppersmith Barbet at the temple. Actually a species of Toucan
And the ever-foraging Yellow-vented Bulbul

On the culinary side …

Butterfly Pea drink. Made with blue flowers with lemon and honey … quite good!
Tom Kha Guy (Coconut Chucken Soup)
My favourite Thai soup is a delicious infusion with intense easy-to-love flavour of Thai herbs: lemon grass, galangal and makeup (kaffir lime) leaves. Chicken for protein, coconut milk, ginger, fish sauce, palm sugar, chicken broth, mushrooms and hot peppers to taste. It’s gluten free!

Again! My favourite fruit I think and in season! Amur plum. Low in sugar, high in antioxidants and rich in fibre. Oh yes, very deliciously sweet. I bought these slightly smaller plumbs for 60 baht per kilo or C$2.65
At work …

Brushes and brooms

And yes… a manicure at the beach from this wonderful lady … 200 baht (C$8.83)

One of the local Motorbike Taxi drivers. Cost for quick ride to the beach … 60baht (C$2.64)
