In the same pattern here. Miscellaneous pics here again.

When you park under a flowering tree you …

Yellow-browed Warbler

The same turtle that you buy for a pet … not native here and released into this large pond

Amazing fruit seller I’ve bought from for many years. She tramps through the sand daily carrying a large tray full of packaged fruits and 2 large heavy bags besides. Great price, ready smile and gives you a few finger bananas as a bonus!

Every year I take a pic or two of this amazing flower from a tree which blooms at the bottom of the tree and bears large cannonball sized fruit
A few days here again before going to Pattaya again for R&R. I am accused of too many flower pics so only 2 here. Around Silom area and Chinatown areas of Bangkok.

Fantastic Thailand strawberries for 100 baht ($C4.34)

Ever present marigolds used for amulets for wealth, prosperity and good fortune

Bangkok skyline from atop hotel
Last full day here. Passed on the Gondola thing which I’ve heard is very good and instead another day exploring more of the place and going to the Symphony of the Sea Chill Show.

Bougainvillea City. This place more than takes advantage of this wonderful tropical plant/shrub/tree. The collage represents a few of the many colour variations. It also doubles as a bonsai of all colours, a bush, a specimen plant, a vine and a houseplant.

Again … this best of uses!

Time out for lunch … taking advantage of the many bakeries and restaurants!

The Kissing Bridge
And finally… on with the show …

Beach area

Doesn’t do the show justice … I have videos …but not on here, unfortunately.
I short, a great visit here in Phu Quoc ..
Recommended hotel … Le Bonheur … Sunset Town … reasonable price about CAD $47 per night…boutique hotel … warm friendly host … breakfast available offsite … fireworks nightly you can view from your balcony or just a few steps out front … great location
NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!! In the strongest possible terms. AIR ASIA is possibly Asia’s worst airline for customer care. Small airport here with new one under construction. Air Asia’s poor customer service is simply overwhelmed. Two service personnel at check in with massive unorganized lineups. Four empty VietJet counters next door? Many customers yelling at staff for service issues. Once checked in, had to wade through solid crowd of passengers to get to departure gates. Two hours to get to gate from airport entry. Waited in hot jammed packed collector bus for 15 minutes to get to airplane. Not even offered water on plane! Everything Air Asia is for money … felt like a pig in slaughter house! Shabby and noisy airplane. Again DO NOT USE AIR ASIA !
