Beautiful old church

Some of the various Havana Club Rum varieties. Very interesting story here. There are now two separate competing Havana Club brands. One sold in Cuba and worldwide except USA and another sold in the USA. Invite you to read at https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Havana_Club

The very famous El Floirdita bar and restaurant. Favourite haunt of Ernest Hemingway and its famous Daiquiri. Open in 1817. I tried one evening to have a drink inside. No room, even a place to stand! ... another time.

One day it was a city tour. Riding an open top double decker bus. Cost 10 CUC (C$13.31). Worth it as you can hop on/ hop off all day.

Old Havana is still there. An UNESCO world heritage site, it is being restored and will be a rich historic and beautiful area to be admired and enjoyed well into the future. My travels while in Havana usually drew me to walk the many narrow streets here.

One attraction not to be missed is El Capitolio or the Capital building. Built between 1926-1929. A guided tour costs 10.00 CUC (C$13.31).

Another post. I received a comment that some of you appreciate pictures of people. Advice on travel to Cuba advises not to take pictures of children, young people or ladies. That leaves only old men. Well, I avoided most pictures of identifiable people, however, I will include more people pics here.
