Hỏa Lò Prison was a prison used by the French colonists in Vietnam for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. Prisoners of War during the Vietnam War. Wikipedia
The only surviving original piece is the gatehouse which has been turned into a museum. During the Vietnam War it was euphemistically referred to as the "Hanoi Hilton".
