... Flowing Springs Golf Greens is a public, championship 18 hole grass greens golf course. Established in 1960, Flowing Springs Golf Greens was well designed and professionally laid out, in order to utilize and bring into play, the winding “Boggy Creek”. This design incorporates the beautiful valley setting and its natural changes in elevation. You’ll find each of the 18 holes offers the golfer a risk-reward challenge, especially the five long par threes. Water can come into play on about 12 different holes throughout the course.

::: April 14, 2017 THAILAND, Bangkok - A 100 day journey to Asia comes to an end

This year's journey began 100 days ago and when I return to Canada, I will have flown 44,110 km or more than the circumference of the earth. Several thousand pictures with some of them on this blog. ::: April 13, 2017 THAILAND, Bangkok Songkran 2017 and Benchasiri Park

Songkran 2017 began today. It is the beginning of the Thai New Year . It has become a huge big party celebration of water. Thousands of participants shoot and throw water at each other and anyone else that comes their way. This year, celebrations are muted in reverence of the late King.

Kit Kat Fever! Kit Kat is the number 1 chocolate bar in Japan. As such, Nestle, the manufacturer since 2000 has produced over 300 individual and regional falovours. Soya Sauce was the No 1 flavour in 2010! Here are a couple of the latest including Raspberry. Kit Kat was originally produced by Rowntree of York, England. Nestle bought the company in 1988.

 

::: April 8, 2017 JAPAN - Tokyo - Oeno Park Zoo

As the day was overcast with light drizzle, the original plan to visit Mt Fuji was put on hold. My second trip to the zoo but worth a follow up visit.
