::: April 7, 2017 JAPAN, Tokyo Tsukiji Market (築地市場, Tsukiji Shijō)

Perhaps the most famous fish market in the world, Tsukiji was worth a visit to see. No photos allowed inside but managed a few. First, the old Market then the new. Tours only allowed for obvious reasons after the main action is over.

And many seafood sellers around the market

Snacks of course ...

While we're on the food subject ... some interesting things...
.......
Fruit is expensive in Japan. An example, grapes. I found this very small container with about a dozen grapes inside. Cost 168 yen (C$2.03) or about .17 cents per grape!

More examples:

Strawberries on a stick ... 4 strawberries for 200 yen @ .60 cents per strawberry and 1/4 of a melon at 1000 yen or $12.05
....
As well, a new product from Coca Cola called Coca Cola plus. Coke with fibre! The product released in Japan only for now. Cost is C$1.95 per bottle and it tastes ok ... in my opinion better than Coke Zero.
