A word about sidewalks: Pattaya’s sidewalks seem to come in 2 basic styles ... broken and nonexistent! Not pedestrian-friendly you frequently find yourself walking on the roadway. Of course, once on the roadway you are at the mercy of cars and motorbikes who treat pedestrians as if they were just obstacles to be avoided.
