🧳🇹🇭🧳 PATTAYA, THAILAND - February 20, 2019 - One elusive bird

There is always one. Every clump of trees of any size has one Asian Koel. It starts it’s very loud call at 4:30 am. Waking many people from their slumber with a curse.

The male is all black. The size of a crow. Part of the Cuckoo family, it is a parasitic brooder. It lays its eggs in other bird’s nests for them to rear.
