The primary brands of beer available in Thailand are Chang, Leo, Tiger and Singha. My personal favourite is Tiger. Singha tastes good but rumoured to have more chemicals. Other beers Siam Soto, Cheers and Archa are available but not popular.
Hard Liquor....
Thailand's national drink is Thai Whiskey, Mekhong which is 95% from sugar cane and 5% from rice. Tasting somewhat like rum, the Thais add a secret indigenous blend of spices and herbs. For most locals, the most popular Thai whiskey is Sang Som and Blend 285.
