Unknown to me, Thailand has been growing grapes since 1960 and one certainly does not think of wine and Thailand together. On a recent visit, I was able to see Silver Lake, where many new vines were in cultivation. Here, the grapes produced are thus far being used only for grape juice and jam. The site is quite interesting and used as a tourist area. Some tentative wine making is happening with more to come in the future.
My personal travel blog. It’s been designed to hopefully entertain and interest my family and friends, but welcome all to look. I post images on Dreamstime, Shutterstock and others for sale. Contact me at sed195027@yahoo.ca for information and links. Thanks for looking! ..... Jerry
