May 9 .. PERU Cusco part one

After a quick night's rest, morning breakfast with coco tea and a pickup by Condor Travel, we were off to a great day of touring and a fantastic dinner show.

Cusco (Cuzco) was the original capital of the Incan Empire (1200s - 1532). This UNESCO world heritage site was conquered by the Spanish Conquistidors in 1533. Many Incan temples and buildings were destroyed and the bases and some walls used to rebuild the city in their their own fashion.

We visited two of the most magnificent churches in Cusco. The first we were able to take pictures was Convento Santo Domingo...
