The Golden Triangle
The final stop was at The Golden Triangle where the Rusk River and the Mekong meet. On the left is Burma and on the right Laos. Burma conveniently has provided a casino there. It is different, however to be able to stand in one country and see two others at the same time. Near the area is Wat Phra Pu Khao which although under renovation was interesting. It was built in 759 AD. Pictures include the Golden Triangle, Wat Phra Pu Khao, the giant golden Buddha and the opium museum.
