At the junction of the main road going to the beach sits a large fountain with a pond. Not attractive but contains some very large water lilies.

Post Valentine's Day and I am wandering down Beach Road ... finding an interesting alley consisting of many shops selling paintings and tattoos.

{{ February 14th ... Valentine's Day ... Pattaya style - Thailand

On this day I travelled to Mimosa ... City of Love. Actually a Thai style theme park I have visited before. I must say it was expensive and not what it once was. And yes...all of these performers started life as male ...

{{ February 10th Pattaya and Bangsaray by the sea...

Fishing, sailing, swimming, jet skis and just the beach are a daily life event here. Blessed with dry, sunny and warm weather Pattaya may not have the best beaches but it has something that attracts thousands and thousands of visitors as well as year round ex-pats.

Went to Bangsaray with a friend for a few hours during the day and back again at night.

The use of Cambodian nationals as well as Burmese is common...the age is from boys 8-10 up to older adults 45-50 and except for brief excursions to close by shos they are confined to their ships and the dock.

And here I am breaking the law ....

And even more token flowers ... This time Fragipani...

And for those of us missing Moose Jaw...

{{ February 9th and more Pattaya Thailand

I thought I would show a few more people activities...and prices!  On a recent walk I bought a Pomelo which is like a sweet grapefruit. It was the size of a cantaloupe and the lady graciously cut it up and peeled it all for me...cost $C2.60

Just one of many monks who go out to receive offerings of food and other items from the faithful...cost $1 to over $50 consisting of prepackaged offerings packages.

And of course some token flower pics ...Hibiscus and Bird of Paradise...
And haircuts 100 tb ($C3.85)
