{{ January 22nd Bangkok evening

Tonight it was back to Chinatown to enjoy a meal at a seafood restaurant on the street. Sitting on a low plastic stool with noisy traffic just a few feet away and the noise and smells all around you. The food was good...had crab curry with morning glory vine sautéed in garlic and pepper. Noom had the clams which I declined to sample.
Just some of the traffic and mob of people...

After Chinatown we made a quick stop at the night flower market ... Wow! about 8 square blocks of stalls selling all manner of flowers and related things...

And that's it for Bangkok...tomorrow Pattaya. I will still be taking pictures but the posts will be sporadic. I have covered Pattaya many times but there is still more to discover...

{{ January 22nd Bangkok

The last full day in Bangkok for awhile. Yesterday I went to Chinatown. I have not really seen this area in the daytime. In existence for over 200 years, the area sells virtually everything.

😅😓 A few notes on Bangkok: Pedestrians have few right of ways. In fact you must always be not only aware of traffic coming at you because they will not stop for you but also looking down because of uneven sidewalks and obstructions all over. It is even worse if you encounter a street filled with vendors.

Next stop...Suan Luang Rama 9 park which is the namesake park of the current King.
